I only have two AGs (Kirsten and Kailey). It took me a over 10 years to get my second AG and I am afraid it is going to take me another 10 years to decide which one to get next.

One of the things that I am considering in my next doll is being able to play with her hair since Kirsten's hair stays in braids and Kailey's hair is too thin to really play with.

So which doll's hair do you think is the best to style and why? Are the mattel dolls hair too thin to be styled?

Also Has anyone done any of the hair styles in the hair book? Which ones?

I have an old AGOT #15 with textured hair it is pain in the butt to style. I keep her hair in one hair do all the time because if I take it out she looks like the bride of Frankenstien with a tall straight up do of fizzy hair. I would personally say one of the AGOT's with out bangs and without textured hair.

I have a PM Kirsten and a Mattel Felicity. Kirsten's hair is actually in decent shape for her age, but it really only looks best in braids. My Felicity has AMAZING hair! It is soooo soft and silky! It's very easy to brush and I have only done the ponytail that she comes in, but I think it would be easy to style another way. I have a family friend whose little girl has one of the new AGOT dolls, and my mom said the hair on it is just like my Felicity's. So, I think any of the AGOT's with straight hair would be a good choice for you. I have heard that some of the newer girls with the side parts have thin hair in the back. If you pick your fave, I'm sure someone on the board can give a personal review for you.

They are *all* hard to style

Well each type of hair has different things you can do with it and other things you can't. I find the AGT's with the bangs most versatile, but their hair is a little more boring. The ones with side parts require you to be a little bit more creative, but I love the side part down. Felicity's I can do quite a few styles with as well, but I don't like the way it looks when it is down.

Josefina! It's so long that you can do practically anything with it and so silky and easy to brush. No woven in parts so it can go whichever way you want and no clipped hairs on the scalp either so almost anything looks good from the back.

Felicity is next for me. I don't play with hers all that much though because I like the little "flip" at the end of her ponytail.

Out of my girls, it is Addy. Her hair is very textured but once it is combed out carefully and free of knots, it is fun to braid different ways. I do not have Josefina but I played with Travelling Josefina's hair a bit and it was a little too long for me to manage without practice. I think AGTs have fun hair to play with. After the AG convention I will be able to give you a better opinion!
